Hello! My name is Alexi Caracotsios, and I will be your writing tutor, coach and friend throughout your medical school application process.

Throughout my life, I always have written profusely - from silly short stories and poems to an academic thesis over 100 pages in length (in Spanish). My love of writing and reading led me to Reed College where I majored in Spanish Literature but left knowing Spanish, Greek and Mandarin Chinese in addition to much Chinese history and Islamic theology.

After school, I traveled to Kyrgyzstan, studied Uighur, Kyrgyz and Russian and have worked my fair share of writing intensive jobs.

Seeing my partner suffer greatly as she went through the medical school application process, I instinctively felt a deep urge to help with all her essays and interview practice. I realized that all my previous writing experience was equally applicable to her process.

Next, I helped friends and other people also applying to medical school. Seeing the great success they had and how much fun I had while doing it, I decided to launch FluidApp.

It bothered me how most other companies in this space offer overpriced, impersonal and, frankly, stressful services in helping future medical students.

I decided to create FluidApp to make the opposite: a fair-priced, highly personal, simple and fun experience.
